Children & Adults matter to God
At St Mary we actively encourage families to worship and join in fellowship together, recognising that children are a vital part of today's church and we would wish to make them feel welcome.
We have an active, growing Children's Ministry where children 3 years and upwards are very welcome.
We have a creche for under 2's.
On most Sundays we start in Church and then move over to the hall for children's own teaching time.
Once a month we join together as a church family for an all-age service.
Youth Services
The Youth Service is a time for young people to worship, socialize and develop in Christ. The evening includes modern worship songs, workshops, Graffiti wall, Prayer wall, tuck shop and other fun activities. This event is for Christians 11-16 years old. This is a new venture for St Mary and started in 2008!!!
The Youth Services are on 2nd August, 6th September, 6th December between 6pm and 8pm.
Firm Foundations
Firm Foundatons is a weekend away under canvas for young people. The weekend is run by the Boys Brigade UK and it is held at the UK headquaters, Feldon Lodge, Hemel Hempstead. SMG have attended this weekend for four years now and many have been inspired by this weekend. If you are interested in coming along, please contact the church office.
