Welcome
Greenhithe Church is becoming increasingly cosmopolitan. We have people from different nationalities, children, adults, different church backgrounds or no church background at all.
Our common bond is our faith in Jesus. Many of us can testify that Jesus has changed us for the better, and if you are looking for something more in life, we'll be happy to listen and share how Jesus can help.

About Us

Our Vision & Values
- Vision: St Mary Greenhithe has a vision to be a "light for God in Kent Thames-side".
- Our aim: Is for people to be set FREE! Many have already found that Jesus offers a whole new dimension to life that is more fulfilling and wholesome than that which they previously experienced.
- Style: Our worship is informal and contemporary, with modern songs and hymns. It is generally appealing to a younger generation and those young at heart. The small groups reflect the same warmth and informality.
- Values: We aim to honour God in all we do. People matter to God and therefore matter to us. Full devotion to Jesus is normal for a Christian believer. Fully devoted followers of Jesus are committed to continuous life change. We seek to be culturally relevant.
- Priorities: Honour God. Build a christian community. Help non-church people discover a relationship with Jesus.
- Churches Together: St Mary has recently joined up with other churches in the area, to pool resources.
Children Matter to God
We have an active children's and young people's work.
More specific information can be found in the Family + Children area of our website.
